Kia Seltos: Door locks / Door lock/unlock features

The Kia Seltos is equipped with door lock and unlock features designed to improve passenger safety and everyday convenience.
Impact sensing door unlock system
All doors will automatically unlock when an impact causes the air bags to deploy. This feature is designed to help occupants exit the vehicle more easily after a collision.
Speed sensing door lock system
All doors will automatically lock after the Kia Seltos speed exceeds 10 mph (15 km/h).
To activate or deactivate the automatic door lock and unlock features, select 'User Settings → Door → Auto Lock/Auto Unlock' on the instrument cluster, or select 'Setup → Vehicle → Door → Auto Lock/Auto Unlock' on the infotainment system.

Inattentive Driving Warning function Driver Attention Warning (DAW) in the Kia Seltos monitors driving patterns while the vehicle is being driven. If the system determines that the driver's attention level has dropped below a certain point, DAW may recommend taking a break to help support safer driving. Leading Vehicle Departure Alert function Leading Vehicle Departure Alert informs the driver when the detected vehicle in front begins moving away from a stop.
